The Society for Conservation Biology is a local group of Queen’s University students and Kingston community members who are committed to promoting environmental and conservation endeavors in and around the Kingston area. The society is composed entirely of volunteers from the community who meet weekly to discuss relevant current events, host guest speakers, and organize community outreach programs for which the SCB has become well-known.
Weekly meetings usually include an overview of our events, information about local conservation efforts, and sign-ups for the multiple programs and activities our club has to offer. Visitors to weekly meetings are welcome! Weekly meetings for the 2024/2025 academic year will be on Thursdays at 5:00PM, in the 4th Floor EEB Lounge in the Biosciences Building on Queen’s Campus.

Trivia Night and Raffle
We partnered with the CES and QBACC to host a fun trivia night and raffle at The Mansion. All proceeds from the event went toward the new community gardens we planned to build behind Nicol Hall.
