August 2025

Queen’s Orientation:

Welcome Home Night – August 30th, 7:30-10:30pm @ Tindall Field
A fun night for incoming first-year students on move-in day! SCB will be running a plant potting activity to welcome new Queen’s students and help them form connections with other students and campus services.

Queen’s in the Park – August 31st, 4-8pm @ City Park
Your go-to place to learn all about the wide variety of clubs Queen’s has to offer! Check out the SCB booth to chat with our exec and learn how you can get involved, and keep your eyes peeled for the many other wonderful environmental clubs at the event!

Picnic, Potluck + Painting Social – Date/time TBD
Come hang out with SCB by the lake to enjoy some relaxing watercolour painting, snacks, and music! Painting materials will be provided, first-come first-serve. Feel free to bring food to share!

SCB x CES: Sustainability Hub – September 18th, time TBD @ ARC 1st floor
Join the Commission of Environmental Sustainability for a fun afternoon of sustainability awareness and activities! SCB will be running a beeswax wrap workshop at our booth as well as some sustainability trivia (with prizes!) – make sure to stop by!
